Why propane for this
Gas heat comes up immediately and runs hotter, so a load finishes noticeably faster than the same load electric.
Because the cycle is shorter and the drum air is more humid, clothes take less of a beating over time.
Propane usually costs less per unit of heat than electric resistance, and the saving compounds over years of use.
On a generator circuit a gas dryer draws a fraction of what an electric one needs.
What the job involves
A dryer needs a gas line run to the laundry, a shut-off valve at the appliance, and a connector rated for the job. If your laundry is on an interior wall we plan the route with you first — through an attic, a crawl, or along a wall we can make good afterwards.
Two things people ask. Your dryer must be a gas model or have a conversion kit from its maker; an electric dryer cannot be converted. And the vent still matters — a gas dryer moves more moist air, so a long or crushed vent run will undo everything you gained.
