Fireplaces

Real flame, on a switch.

A gas fireplace lights instantly, throws real heat, and stops when you say so. No hauling wood, no ash, no chimney sweep. In Florida a fireplace is mostly about the evening it creates rather than the January it survives — which makes controllable flame the point.

Why propane for this

On when you want it

A switch, a remote, or a wall control. No building a fire for twenty minutes of use.

Nothing to clean up

No ash, no smoke in the room, no wood pile attracting whatever lives in a Florida wood pile.

Fits where wood cannot

Direct-vent units go on an exterior wall without a masonry chimney, which opens up rooms a wood fireplace could never serve.

Works in an outage

A standing pilot or battery ignition keeps a fireplace usable when the power is off.

What we do and what we do not

We run and connect the gas: the line from the tank, sized for the appliance, with a shut-off where code requires it, then pressure tested, permitted and inspected. We commission the appliance and show you how it runs.

The firebox itself, the surround, the mantel and the framing are usually your builder or a fireplace specialist. We are happy to work alongside them and will tell you what the gas side needs before the framing goes up — which is far cheaper than finding out afterwards.

How the job runs

  1. Free estimate — tell us what you are adding and we will give you a number.
  2. Property site visit — we look at the tank, the route and the load.
  3. Contract and property survey — what is being installed, drawn and agreed.
  4. Permit — we file with your local building department and handle the inspection.
  5. Install and first flame — tested, inspected and commissioned with you there.
